There are times when you choose something to do, maybe a college course or a job, and at first it seems like it was a good choice, a wise choice. But then people tell you you made a mistake in choosing what you chose. Day in and day out, they’ll tell you what you’re doing is a waste of time.
Don’t listen to them.
You had your reasons for choosing what you chose. Remember those reasons when people around you are trying to bring you down. Remember why you started. And trust yourself enough to know what you’re doing. By extension, trust that what you’re doing now will mean something in the future, that what you’re doing now is a stepping stone to something greater.
You made a choice, you had your reasons for choosing it, so believe in your judgment. And if it turns out you really made a mistake, be brave enough to take responsibility and stand by your choices. You thought that choice was the best one during that time. No one can fault you for that. And you shouldn’t let them.
Trust. Belief. Responsibility.
