One month late but who cares?
Here’s the BMM’s (books, movies, music) that I read, watched, listened to, and liked last April 2014.

Books
”The Witches" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Roald Dahl. I make it a point to read at least one work from different genres. I’m currently on a children’s stories streak. My other authors-to-read from other genres are Ray Bradbury, HP Lovecraft, and Stephen King.
“Divergent,” ”Insurgent,” “Allegiant,” and “Four: A Divergent Story Collection" by Veronica Roth. With the movie coming out this month, how could I not read these? And for the first time since I can remember, I like the movie better than the book! See why in my Movies below.

Movies
Divergent. I like the movie better than the book because Tris seems stronger in the movie, calmer. In the book, especially in the knife-throwing scene and the Ferris wheel scene, she seemed so emotional and weak (read: so many exclamation points in her statements, and she needed Four’s help in the Ferris wheel scene). Can’t wait for the next movie. Just imagine, Mockingjay I in Nov 2014, Insurgent in March? 2015, Mockingjay II in November 2015, plus whatever pops up in between. Overload!
Brokeback Mountain. Just like my reading list, I make it a point to watch well-known or classic movies from time to time. I already started with “Dead Poets Society” and I took on “Brokeback Mountain” this month. No regrets.
.
Music
Divergent Score Track. This month was full of Divergent, and why not? Did anyone else notice how great the score (not the soundtrack, but that was good, too) was during the movie? I had this whole playlist on repeat for most of the month.

That’s it. Bye. :P
